IT Support Engineer

We are working with an existing client who are looking to expand their IT Support function with an 1st – 2nd Line IT Support Engineer! Due to the nature of the company, you will be required to undergo an enhanced security check, meaning candidates must be a British Citizen and have been in the UK for the last 5 years.
As well as a salary between £25k-£28k you will have access to a training budget, progression, birthday day off, staff discount and free onsite parking.
You will be responsible for supporting the 1stline team, dealing with support tickets and escalating to the 3rdline team when appropriate. Candidates must have previous experience working at a 1st Line level. Unfortunately this is not a entry level role.
The role:
· Provide 1st Line IT Support
· Escalate tickets to 2nd line team when appropriate
· Create new user accounts in Active Directory
· Support a range of O365 applications
· Laptop builds
· Configure and deploy all new desktop and laptops
Requirements:
· Eligible for security clearance (British Citizen and been in the UK for a minimum of 5 years)
· Previous experience providing 1stline support
· O365
· Active Directory
· Windows Server would be beneficial
Due to the location of the office and the requirement to travel to the Luton area, candidates must have a full, clean UK Driving licence which has been held for a minimum of 1 year. A car allowance is provided.
