We are a firm of Accountants in Tonypandy, and they are currently looking for an
experienced Accountant to join our team.
We are looking for:
- 4 – 5 Years’ experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience of accounting for small, owner managed businesses
- Excellent proficiency in excel and confident in other Microsoft software i.e. Word, Excel etc.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping software i.e., Iris, Sage, Xero & QuickBooks.
- Clear, confident communication skills and a willingness to be pro-active when engaging with clients.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude, eager to carve an integral role within our business.
The Successful Candidate will be:
- Qualified or Part Qualified or qualified by experience.
- Able to communicate and adapt to a client’s needs.
- Able to work to deadlines and have a desire to exceed client’s expectations.
- Enthusiastic, hardworking and have good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and good technical competency.
- Confident in managing own time and workload.
- A team player
Working closely with our clients, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Handling client queries i.e. technical software advice, bookkeeping, tax, VAT etc
- The preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies.
- The completion of corporation tax computations
- The completion of VAT Returns
- Liaising with HMRC as required
- Month end duties including reconciliation for clients.
- Liaising with senior managers and assisting with finance related queries

Salary: £28,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
