Assistant Manager

Our SPAR convenience stores are more than just a local shop and as a member of our team, you will have a really important role to play in keeping our customers happy while supporting the manager to maximise sales and profit and positively contributing to the running of our business.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a flexible individual to join the team as an Assistant Manager at our SPAR Turlin Moor store on a full-time 40-hour contract to cover various shifts including morning, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensure that our customers find everything they need. When not busy serving our customers, you will be required to make sure the store always looks its best, and support with deliveries to replenish stock.
You will be required to comply with all legislative requirements as well as all Company policies, procedures, and processes. This will include health and safety, food handling and age restricted sales.
Applicant Requirements:
The successful candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to work as part of a team. A retail background is advantageous, however full training can be given.
