Bar So, a premium cocktail bar and club in the heart of Bournemouth, We are looking for a skilled and passionate bartender to join our team. As a bartender at Bar So, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional customer experience, serving up a range of delicious cocktails and providing friendly and professional service.
Responsibilities:
- Serve customers promptly and professionally
- Engage with customers and make recommendations
- Use computerized tills and handle cash, credit card payments
- Check identification of customers who appear to be underage.
- Maintain a good knowledge of Alcohol licensing laws and regulations
- Keep up to date with special promotions and offers
- Keep the bar area clean and tidy at all times
- Prepare fruit and restock bars
- Perform stock take duties as required
- Follow procedures for opening and closing the bar
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bar and ancillary areas
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures and record accidents
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a high-volume bar or nightclub environment
- A good knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, and beer
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers
- Knowledge of liquor licensing laws and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- A positive and professional attitude towards work
