The role
We are currently looking to recruit Cleaners (known as “Night Hygiene Workers”) to assist in the hygiene of the production facility. Duties include:
- Using high pressure washer systems;
- Using chemicals;
- General clean down of meat preparation area and the equipment;
- Being involved in dirty wet work (P.P.E provided);
- This is a physically demanding job with manual handling require.
The person
The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning within a factory environment together with handling chemicals, however full training be offered.
The successful candidate will have;
- a good attendance and punctuality record, and is reliable and hard-working;
- a positive and proactive attitude;
- an ability to cope well under pressure, working well to strict deadlines;
- a keen eye for detail;
- an ability to work autonomously while also being part of a team.
Ideally but not essential, you’d have;
- Experience in using high pressure washer systems;
- Experience in using chemicals.
Candidates should be flexible, being able to work additional hours if and when required.
