The Client and Project Info:
My client is a leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Supervisor to complete a 14 to 18 month contract, to supervise there commercial project.
Mechanical Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Reporting to and working with the Project Manager.
- Supervising and undertaking all Mechanical works.
- Supervising and managing mechanical sub-contractors.
- Assess the quality of work that the client’s Labour and its sub-contractors are delivering.
- To assist the quality manager with all QA sign offs.
- Dealing with any technical issues that may arise.
- Making sure that safe working practices are always maintained.
- Attending everyday meetings with the management and other trades.
- Delivering toolbox talks.
- Arranging inductions.
- To manage the productivity and push the project towards the completion date.
Mechanical Supervisor Requirements:
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- Previous experience industrial and commercial building service.
- Mechanical trade or Engineering qualification.
- 5 years’ experience working for Mechanical Contractors
- Experience in commercial projects.
