Overall Purpose of the Role:
Production of goods using mixing vessels and in accordance with works orders / batch sheets. Set up and operate equipment with best manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures whilst enhancing overall productivity and maintaining quality requirements.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Fill out necessary paperwork and batch records to a high standard of accuracy.-
Ensure output targets are met and stock levels are monitored and corrected as required.

Ensure mixing equipment and product quality are maintained within Standard Operating Procedures and customers’ expectations.

Strictly follow detailed mixing instructions to monitor equipment, temperature and take samples for testing at required times.

Follow departmental and role specific SOP’s and SSOW’s.

Use FLT or Stacker Truck to load vessels with prepared jobs (kits).

Follow sanitising guidelines for cleaning and keeping the working environment clean by adopting Clean as You Go principles.

Ensure EH&S, COSHH processes and procedures are always adhered to.

Follow all GMP requirements.

Ensure that any problems that may affect safety or quality are reported in timely manner.

Promote good interpersonal relationships with other team members, management, and other departments to work effectively to ensure delivery of production targets and customer requirements

For dispensing of materials bar code scanners to be used on all weighed out materials
Experience & Qualifications:
Skills and Experience:

Experience within cosmetics or pharmaceuticals would be beneficial

Forklift License, Stacker Truck License

Relevant blending or compounding experience, cosmetic or personal care setting preferred

In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes
