The Role
As a Durham Bed and Furniture Group Warehouse Operative you will be moving stock and loading vans with our beds/Suites and furniture in one of our Durham distribution centres as well as any other general warehouse and storage duties.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manually stacking customer orders onto dispatch wagons
- Unloading stock from supplier waggons and storing around the warehouse
- The organisation of stock within the waregouse
- Picking customer orders and preparing for dispatch
- Cleaning warehouse floor and always ensuring the work area remains clean and safe
The Skill requirements
- Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture with manual handling
- Must be availble to work additional hours and Saturdays
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.50-£12.00 per hour
