A multi-million pound investment is underway within our Imaging department. The Trust has secured a share of £350m national funding to be one of the first 40 new Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) announced by the Government and NHS.
The new Community Diagnostic Centre is part of the Crown Street Enhancements Programme at Liverpool Women's and will include brand new CT, and MRI imaging facilities, due for completion in February 2026. In addition to this the department has recently invested in updating the x-ray, DEXA and ultrasound facilities with considerable investment in equipment.
Applications are invited from hardworking, motivated individuals who have a genuine passion for patient care and experience.
We have a small friendly radiography team and the ability to work independently and be self-directed in the role is key. There is a commitment to on-call duties as part of this role. Any relevant training for additional duties will be provided.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience.
