Currently at American Bites we are looking for kitchen/front of house staff (cooking experience needed) at our vibrant African american diner serving soul food in the heart of New Cross Gate.
We are looking for people who will have the talent, personality and passion to help build American Bites to become a national franchise. The right candidate will be able to multi-task various duties, perform well in fast-paced environments and fit in with the team.
Please note we will require you to work in shifts and at times during weekends and holidays. Experience in the industry is preferable.
Responsibilities for each role and salary will be based on experience and discussed during the recruitment process.
For this role some of the main tasks will include;
- Opening the shop and preparing for breakfast trade
- Cooking the breakfast menu to order
- Using the till and processing transactions
- Keeping the shop clean and suitable for trade
- Stock checking and liaising with management
