Roman Originals are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their rapidly expanding company. A family run company based in Erdington, Birmingham your duties will include the following:
- Picking orders using scanning equipment to ensure total accuracy.
- Packing orders using the correct packaging material, scanning orders in preparation for despatch.
- Working to achievable targets based on productivity and quality.
- In some areas, you may be responsible for replenishment of stock to ensure stock is always available.
- Ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met at all times.
- Undertaking cross training in all departments where required.
- Completing all warehouse tasks
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Preferred Skills
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative is desired
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- Aware of health and safety
- Personal Attributes
- Confident and willing to work
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexible in regards to working hours as shift work is required
You will need to be fully flexible to work any 5 days out of 7 and you can apply for Dayshifts which are 08:00 to 16:30 or Evening shifts which are 16:30 to 01:00.
